Medium intensity, bright ruby color. Clean and complex nose. Diverse bouquet with black plum, cherry and blackberries aromas creating the ripe fruity character, followed by warm spice notes where cinnamon and vanilla stand out complemented by fresh herb nuances. Intense on the palate, showing balanced acidity, well-polished tannins and silky texture. Warm notes of toffee and chocolate add another layer of aromas. The taste ends soft and warm, showing proof of the undeniable opulence of a nice Alentejo red.
WINE PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
A fine example of the generosity of an Alentejo red wine, As Pias Red deserves to be enjoyed at the dining table. Wide slices of pork delicacies or your favorite stir fried cut with pickles will make great partners for this wine. Also try it with spiced stews, where the meat falls from the bone, such as pork cheeks in red wine or lamb, to make for an even better experience.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Due to its intensity, complexity, and noticeable warmth, we recommend serving this wine between 15 to 17 Celsius.

TASTING NOTES
Clean, fresh and intense fruity nose. The bouquet is dominated by tropical fruit where the pineapple stands out followed by citric notes of lemon and grapefruit. Hints of green asparagus elevate the feeling of aromatic freshness.
The fruity character of the wine intensifies on the palate, reinforcing the tropicality, dominated by the Antão Vaz grape variety. Full bodied and comforting, typical of the As Pias warmth. The tropical fruit and the rich and silky texture are maintained until its long finish.
WINE PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
Although capable of pairing with a great conversation with friends, we can also use the aromatic intensity and the excellent body of As Pias White and recommend some food for it. Oven grilled fish or an asparagus and fresh herbs omelet are great match for this wine. For those who enjoy meat with white wine, try a fricassee chicken with lemon and coriander.

We recommend serving this wine between 7 and 8 Celsius.
